Amadeus partners with Taxera Technologies to bring e-Invoicing to travel sellers worldwide
Global travel technology leader Amadeus has signed a strategic partnership with Taxera Technologies to deliver automated e-Invoicing compliance to travel sellers worldwide. The collaboration enables travel agencies and sellers using Amadeus platforms to meet rapidly evolving EU VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) mandates — with zero manual administration.

Starting in 2024, e-invoicing is becoming mandatory across a growing number of markets. Under the EU’s VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) framework, electronic invoices must now comply with new standards — and each market brings its own specific requirements. Through integration with the Taxera platform, a standardised data feed is offered to Amadeus’ global network of travel sellers, ensuring compliance with every local governmental scheme while delivering secure, validated sales documents.
