Taxera Technologies Approved as a Certified DBNAlliance Access Point Strengthening secure and interoperable digital business exchange across North America

Zurich, 12th May 2026

Taxera Technologies is proud to announce that we have officially been approved as a certified Access Point provider for the Digital Business Networks Alliance (DBNAlliance), further strengthening our capabilities in secure, standards-based digital business document exchange across North America.

This certification positions Taxera Technologies within a growing ecosystem of trusted providers supporting the modernization of business-to-business (B2B) digital connectivity and interoperable transaction exchange throughout the United States and broader North American market.

The DBNAlliance is a nonprofit industry initiative focused on enabling open, interoperable, and secure digital business networks through globally recognized standards such as UBL and AS4. The framework supports the exchange of structured business documents between organizations, platforms, ERP systems, suppliers, customers, and government entities — reducing friction, improving interoperability, and enabling scalable digital collaboration.

Supporting the future of connected business operations

As organizations continue accelerating digital transformation initiatives, businesses are increasingly looking for standardized and interoperable ways to exchange structured business data securely and efficiently.

Through its certified DBNAlliance Access Point, Taxera Technologies enables organizations to securely exchange structured business documents across trading networks while supporting seamless interoperability between ERP systems, procurement platforms, finance operations, tax engines, and broader enterprise ecosystems.

The certification strengthens Taxera’s broader mission of helping organizations modernize complex business processes through automation, compliance, interoperability, and scalable digital infrastructure.

Enabling interoperability beyond e-invoicing

While structured invoicing remains a key driver of digital transformation globally, interoperable business networks increasingly support a much wider range of digital business processes and transaction flows.

Organizations are seeking modern frameworks that enable:

* Secure and standardized business document exchange * Reduced manual processing and operational complexity * Faster and more reliable transaction processing * Improved data quality and audit readiness * Enhanced supplier and customer collaboration * Greater interoperability across platforms and systems * Future-ready digital compliance capabilities

By adopting open and internationally recognized standards, organizations can build more connected, efficient, and scalable business operations while reducing dependency on fragmented or proprietary networks.

Driving scalable digital connectivity

Taxera Technologies remains focused on delivering modern digital infrastructure that simplifies how businesses connect, transact, and exchange data across global ecosystems.

Our certified DBNAlliance Access Point supports organizations seeking a scalable and future-ready foundation for digital business exchange — whether related to finance, procurement, tax, compliance, supply chain operations, or broader enterprise integration initiatives.

This milestone further reinforces Taxera’s commitment to helping businesses navigate the evolving landscape of global digital transformation through open standards, interoperability, and enterprise-grade connectivity.

Taxera partners with ECIT Digital to extend AP automation across its global tax compliance platform

with ECIT

The agreement adds intelligent document processing to Taxera’s offering, giving customers a single path from unstructured supplier invoices to fully compliant tax data. Taxera Technologies has signed a new partnership with ECIT Digital, a Nordic specialist in intelligent document processing. The agreement extends Taxera’s compliance platform with managed AI-powered capture for invoices, contracts, purchase orders, receipts and other supplier documents, providing a single, validated data flow from inbound document to outbound tax filing.

Zurich , May 5th , 2026

Taxera Technologies has signed a new partnership with ECIT Digital, a Nordic specialist in intelligent document processing. The agreement extends Taxera’s compliance platform with managed AI-powered capture for invoices, contracts, purchase orders, receipts and other supplier documents, providing a single, validated data flow from inbound document to outbound tax filing.

The service is expected to become increasingly valuable as e-invoicing and continuous transaction controls become mandatory across the European Union and other markets, where structured, validated data is a baseline requirement. Through the partnership, Taxera customers will be able to onboard suppliers regardless of how they send their documents today, and have that data delivered into Taxera as clean, audit-ready records.

Paul Antunes, CEO, Taxera, said: “E-invoicing , SAF-T and tax compliance only work if the data flowing in is clean. Our customers operate across markets and supplier networks that are still very far from fully digital. With ECIT Digital, we can offer a managed answer to that last-mile problem, so every supplier document, in any format, becomes structured data ready for our compliance engine.”

Under regimes such as VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) in the European Union, e-invoices must be issued and reported in compliance with new standards, with each market introducing its own specific characteristics. ECIT Digital’s template-free AI, combined with human-in-the-loop validation, ensures that documents arriving in any layout, including PDF, paper and email attachments, are converted into the structured formats required by Taxera and downstream tax authorities.

Rune Skåren, Managing Director, ECIT Digital, said: “Taxera has built one of the most advanced tax compliance platforms in the market, and we are proud to be the partner extending it into the messier reality of inbound documents. Together, we are giving multinational customers a single, end-to-end pipeline from supplier to tax authority, with no manual keying and no compliance gaps in between.”

The partnership is available to Taxera customers worldwide.

Taxera Technologies and Roedl Romania are pleased to announce an expansion of their collaboration through the introduction of a jointly delivered managed platform service.

with Roedl Romania

Taxera Technologies and Roedl Romania are pleased to announce an expansion of their collaboration through the introduction of a jointly delivered managed platform service for indirect tax compliance in Romania.

Zurich, 30th April 2026 - Taxera Technologies and Roedl Romania , are pleased to announce an expansion of their collaboration through the introduction of a jointly delivered managed platform service for indirect tax compliance in Romania.

Taxera continues to provide its technology platform supporting indirect tax reporting and regulatory requirements, while Roedl Romania will now offer clients an optional managed service focused on the operational use of the platform in the Romanian market. This service is designed to support organizations that prefer to outsource the day-to-day execution of compliance processes while continuing to rely on their existing tax advisory arrangements.

Many organizations operating in Romania and using the Taxera platform manage complex obligations such as SAF-T reporting, e-Invoicing, e-Transport, VAT returns, and related data reconciliation activities internally. While the underlying tax position and advisory framework remain unchanged, the operational effort required to run these processes can be significant.

Through this expanded collaboration, clients in Romania may choose to have Roedl Romania take responsibility for operating the Taxera platform on their behalf. This includes managing routine compliance activities, ensuring data is prepared and processed correctly, and supporting timely and consistent execution of Romanian regulatory reporting requirements.

The managed platform service in Romania may include: • Day-to-day operation of the Taxera platform • Preparation, validation, and reconciliation of transactional data • Execution of SAF-T, e-Invoicing, and e-Transport processes in Romania • Support for VAT return-related data and outputs • Ongoing monitoring of Romanian legislative, technical, and operational changes impacting platform usage • Structured operational oversight and continuity This model allows clients to retain full transparency and control while reducing internal workload and operational risk. It also enables finance and tax teams to focus on oversight and strategic matters, rather than the mechanics of compliance execution.

This expanded collaboration reflects a shared commitment by Taxera Technologies and Roedl Romania to supporting clients with reliable, scalable, and practical solutions.

By combining Taxera’s technology with Roedl Romania’s operational and regulatory expertise, clients gain a structured managed service option initially available in Romania. Clients interested in learning more about the managed platform service in Romania are encouraged to contact their Taxera or Roedl Romania representative for further details.

This partnership enables us to support clients with both the technology and the practical execution required to prepare with confidence,” she said.

With South Africa as the initial focus, the partnership is also expected to provide a strategic launchpad for broader expansion across Africa, as revenue authorities across the continent increasingly explore digital VAT controls and e-invoicing as part of wider tax modernisation initiatives.
